Our Story

KZ was established in 1957

Owned completely by the Egyptian government, specializing in formulating several pesticides . Located in Gharbia governorate, on an area of 25 feddans.

1960-1991

A complete change in the business scope to include agricultural pesticides, household, and public health products, resulting to be one of the best companies in MENA.

1982

Implementation of the Sulfur & aerosols – KZ is producing 30 thousands tons of Sulphur.

1991

KZ company came to be affiliated to the holding company of chemicals industry.

1996

KZ got privatized divided into 75% privately owned and 25% government owned. Was also registered in the stock market with 1,200,000 shares and 7,500,000 L.E. capital.

1997

KZIPAC Free Zone was established, to facilitate export to MENA and most African countries.

2003

KZ company became 100% privatized.

2004

Organic Biotechnology Company was established in 2004 in the first industrial area in Nubariya to produce, manufacture and formulate biopesticides and agricultural fertilizers, in line with recent developments and in line with the global trend in the development of biopesticides and biofertilizers.

2005-2010

A huge milestone of establishing our new factory in Nubariya , 80 km from Alexandria, 120 km from Cairo, making several formulations.

2005

Capital increase from 7,500,000 to 80,000,000 L.E.

2007

KZ was the first company in Middle East and Africa (MENA) to do trials of synthesis production for herbicides. New machinery for flowable formulations were added too. New laboratories were equipped according to the international standards of quality with the necessary laboratory equipment.

2013

Establishment of Kimi, KZ sister company, which imports several chemicals for sales in local market.
Customs warehouse.

2022

Establishment of Egyptos company, the sales distribution arm for KZ.
