  Activity of disinfecting pallets and wooden packing materials .In line with the state’s policy towards encouraging exports and carrying out the European Union’s decision to prevent the entry of any imports to the countries of the Union that are inside wooden packages that have not been treated against wood borers in according to Article 15 of the phytosanitary measures and in international trade and as a contribution from the company to the exporters to carry out this decision, it has established a unit Thermal treatment of wood (pallets) and wooden packaging materials used in foreign trade with specifications and requirements that meet the implementation of the decision of the European Union. This unit works with the system of raising the air temperature inside it by using the air steam from special boilers and pushing it until the temperature inside the wood reaches a degree of 57 m (°C). And this to meet the needs of the exporters as soon as possible. After inspecting the unit, the General Administration of Plant Quarantine issued Administrative Decision No. (1)of the year 2006 for the heat treatment unit for treating pallets and wooden packing materials at the head company in Kafr El-Zayat, Gharbia Governorate as an approved unit to conduct the heat treatment process under the supervision of the Plant Quarantine.

Kafr El-Zayat Pesticides and Chemicals Company is pleased to offer its services and capabilities in this field to the exporting masters to the countries of the Union and the United States of America, as the first company approved in the Arab Republic of Egypt to carry out this activity and present it to the exporters at reasonable prices that do not accept competition. Wooden packing with the approved seal, according to which Egyptian products are allowed to be exported outside the Arab Republic of Egypt.
